For an easy-to-maintain lawn see our Sir Grange Zoysia Turf. Zoysia has a high shade tolerance and only needs 3 hours of direct sunlight per day but can survive the blazing sun all day. The turf itself has a deep green colour and requires little maintenance with 50% less mowing than other lawn variants. The hardy turd has a high wear tolerance and is eed and insect-resistant! Before ordering ensure you measure the area that needs laying and that your topsoil is of good quality. It's a good idea to apply weed killer to stop any weeds from getting into your newly laid turf, and apply fertiliser to the top soil and jump-start the root penetration into the soil. When installing ensure you give your lawn at least 25mm of water within 30 minutes of laying in Summer, and try to avoid traffic on your lawn until the roots have fully taken hold
